YAY!!! A new book to read!!!! Thanks for introducing yourself! As you can tell we are a VERY diverse group (ages opinions etc.) However we have never been 'vicious' about a creative work. We have our likes and dislikes and have always been able to explain WHY we didn't care for a particular "creation". I envy anyone who can command pen and paper, do the research and come out with a cohesive piece that will entertain and prompt discussion. GOOD LUCK and hope to hear from you soon! Whats the title of your book?

Thank you Tess. It is good to know that this is not a 'vicious' group. I did not get that impression as I read through the various posts, and it is a relief as not all Austen fans are so open.
As I noted, the details of my story are best found on my website. Soon I will be added to the list of Authors here, but Sourcebooks is not quite to that point yet. In brief, my entire story is referred to as The Darcy Saga with the first book titled, 'Two Shall Become One ~ Mr. & Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy.' It is currently available on Amazon and will very soon be published through Sourcebooks with the following novels to be released eventually. It is a Saga in the full definition of the word!
I totally comprehend individual likes and dislikes, and have no problem with folks not caring for my story. To each her own, I always say! Many do like it and have for the past year and a half as I shared it on my website. My hope is that more folks will enjoy my humble offering of a marriage as it is supposed to be.
Thanks again for the welcome! It is good to be part of the group.

Hi Sharon--I just joined AustenFans.com this week, and I reserved your book from the library. I'll be picking it up at the end of the week, and I'll let you know my opinion. It sounds interesting.
