Hi I'm Ellen and I'm thrilled to be a part of Austen Fans.

My name is Betty Jo and absolutely love P&P. Although I do live in South Carolina currently, I am a true New Orleans lady. (I grew up near there) I have read around nine P&P sequels. I am currently looking for a few more that true fans can recommend to me. I truly hope this site is the place to visit for new info and reviews. It looks as if many have not posted for a while. I'd love to hear from a few obsessed folks like me.

I'm Rach and I'm a huge Austen fan from North West England. My favourite Austen book by far is Persuasion although I also adore Pride and Prejudice but then most people do. What I like best about Austen is her wit, intelligence and acidity - what is it that led other people to be Austen fans?

I discovered Jane Austen or rather the 1995 BBC P&P in March 2009. Fell in love with Darcy. Have since read 6 J.A. novels and a a few sequels.I'm totally hooked to the point where I writing an essay on the subject.

Where can we discuss regency movies and books that are not Jane austen related?

Every one likes Colin Firth.

I am new here !! my name is Tabitha I am 25 years old . i got into Austen when i was 15 years old.I happend to come accrosed Pride and Prejudice on A&E after watching the movie i whent out and bought the book. after reading it i was hooked! I have since read all of her books and have started collecting the movies.

I am also insterested in learning more about the regancy period and reading some georgette heyer bookes
