I have read quite a number of Georgette Heyer books because of my aunt and so far I very much enjoyed Cotillion, These Old Shades, Devil's Cub and The Masqueraders. I am currently reading Venetia and so far it's interested me. Do any of you have recommendations as to which of her books I should read next? Thank you very much!

If you enjoyed These Old Shades and Devil's Cub, then you many want to read An Infamous Army, which is about Vidal and Mary's daughter during the run-up to the Battle of Waterloo.
You may also want to read The Black Moth. It was Heyer's first novel, written to amuse her bedridden brother. It is very melodramatic, but Tracy Belmanoir, Duke of Andover is the pattern for Justin Alistair, Duke of Avon. Belmanoir did not get the girl at the end of The Black Moth. I would like to think that Heyer wanted to give the character a second chance and transformed him into the deliciously deadly Satanas in These Old Shades. I understand that the reason Heyer titled her second novel "These Old Shades" was because she saw it as shades or shadows of the characters from The Black Moth.
If you want an adorable romp about a pair of very young lovers who don't know they love one another, you will enjoy Cotillion. But I must admit The Nonesuch, Faro's Daughter and The Corinthian are all perfectly delightful.
Happy Reading!
