I only know of three movie versions of Emma. As far as I know, two were made in 1996. The other was made in 1972, starring Doran Godwin and John Carson. One of the 1996 versions stars Kate Beckinsale, Mark Strong and Prunella Scales. The other 1996 version stars Gwyneth Paltrow. I haven't seen the 1972 version, but I hope to. Which is your favorite version?

I saw only the Gwyneth Paltrow version and I love it... Sincerely I don't think I'd like to see the other versions, because the idea of Emma's world I have in my mind is exactly shown in that film...and Mr Knightly is a wonderful-handsome-perfect Jeremy Northam!
