Thanks so much for writing, Ms Davis. (I'm just plain Kathy, by the way.) I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the story - I certainly enjoyed writing it. I have often thought about a sequel/prequel, and who knows, it could happen, but right now I'm writing a very different story about a midwestern family in the 20th Century. It's pretty hard for me to leap back and forth to the 1800's. Have you been to the Austen Authors blog? I'm completely amazed at the number of Jane Austen followers in our world. Enjoy! Happy holidays. - Kathryn L Nelson

Dear Ms. Nelson,
OMG!!!!! I have just finished Pemberly Manor and would just like to say that I am blown away!!!! It is one of my most favorite books by far, other than Pride and Prejudice, haha!!!! I was just wondering if you have ever thought about continuing the story??? I know a lot of people who would love to see another book out by you, especially if it continues what I have just finished reading!!!!! Hopefully this thought will become a reality and I will continue to look for my of your work in book stores!!!
Yours Truly,
Emmy Dancer:) - Emily Davis

Thanks so much, Jean, for that delicious comments. I wrote Pemberley Manor under the delusion that I could persuade the BBC to dramatize it with the 1995 cast intact. After three years of writing, they were all getting a little old, I'm afraid. In any case, I got a very warm "no thanks" and went off in search of a book publisher.
If you ever post your reviews online, I'b be so tickled to have it appear on Amazon and the other book-sellers. No one has praised it in such delightful terms -thanks a million. - Kathryn L Nelson

I just finished Pemberley Manor, and loved it! I've read just about every Jane Austen sequel written, and think Ms. Nelson's book is first-rate. Of all the sequels I've read, this one has the best potential to become a film (either first-run or television). Please keep writing, Ms. Nelson - Jane Austen would be proud! - Jean Arndt

What great fun. Pemberley Manor is now available in bookstores with a shiny new Sourcebooks cover. It's a pleasure to be a part of the Austenfans family. - Kathryn L Nelson
