Reading Jane Austen

I highly recommend that ALL fans of Jane Austen's writings read "Reading Jane Austen" by Mona Scheuermann. I am reading this, and am almost finished, and it has helped me appreciate and further understand Jane's writings and the importance of morals and right conduct/behavior during the Regency era in which Jane Austen lived and wrote.

I'm having a wonderfully exciting week. The new Sourcebooks edition of Pemberley Manor is out in stores and my own shipment arrived yesterday. They're lovely. Some great reviews have been posted in the last few days. It's great to be a part of the Austenfans family.

I'm sorry that I did not find this site years ago. I feel as if I'm really behind in getting the insights from other readers. I may need help navigating all the site has to offer. So far this is really great. I'm looking forward to some stimulating debates on all the topics offered.
